Lewis County Burn Restrictions Modified – To Allow Recreational Fires and Solid Fuel BBQ Use

Effective 12:01 A.M., September 23, 2023, the Lewis County Fire Marshal will be modifying burn restrictions on outdoor burning to allow recreational fires and solid fuel BBQs for all lands regulated by Lewis County, Washington.

After careful review of the current and extended weather forecast, the Lewis County Commissioners, Community Development Director and Fire Marshal have determined that current weather conditions within Lewis County have improved enough to modify current burning restrictions. Recreational campfires and use of solid fuel BBQs are allowed at this time.
